Date of Birth - 21 December 1955

Place of Birth - Dundee

Returned to Tour golf after a 15 year absence during which time he turned

his attentions to running a family engineering business in Dundee. Missed his

card in 2005 but returned for “the last throw of the dice” in 2006 and

came up with the winning number, a birdie four seeing him edge out

Frenchman Philippe Dugeny in a play-off for the fourth ranked card. The

former Walker Cup player is now looking ahead to renewing

acquaintances with the other Scottish former European Tour players on the

Senior Tour, notably Sandy Lyle with whom he came close to winning the

World Cup in 1980, finishing second.
