Estcourt Open Trophy won by Bobby Locke in 1968

Golf ball used and signed by Bobby Locke

Two putters personally used by Bobby Locke.

“I am pleased that you like the putters, during the 1960's

and 70's I was the pro at the East Berks Golf Club. Bobby

Locke spent the summers nearby and played the course

regularly between events. He would play with anybody

from scratch to 28 handicap. I often played with him. He

was always adding to his collection of putters that could

be used as a replacement for his famous rusty model.

These were two of those that he gave to his constant

playing companion who passed them on to me. I don't

think that he used them in tournament play but he

certainly played with them at East Berks.

The last time I played with him I enquired how many

events he had won but he didn't know, however he said

that he had won the Open Championship of 19 countries

In my view he must be considered one of the greatest

 golfers of all time.”
